Is lip blush a one-time treatment?

It’s a two-step treatment: your first visit plus a touch-up 6–8 weeks later, which evens out and locks in the color. Touch-ups within 6 months are $199.

Will it look like lipstick?

No — lip blush is a sheer tint, not opaque lipstick coverage. It defines your border, evens out tone and gives a healthy flush; it adds color and definition, not volume.

Lips are sensitive, so we use a stronger numbing protocol. Most clients handle it well.

What lip blush is

Lip blush is a semi-permanent lip tattoo that wakes up your natural color: it defines the border, evens out paleness or uneven tone, and gives you a healthy tint. Every shade is custom-mixed for your skin tone and preference.

One honest note: lip blush adds color and definition, not volume. It can’t plump lips the way filler does, though a crisper border can make lips look fuller.

Talk to us before booking if you have a history of cold sores. Lip procedures can trigger an outbreak, so mention it when booking and ask your doctor about antiviral medication beforehand. We can’t work on an active cold sore or broken skin, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Keep retinoid skincare off the procedure area for at least two months beforehand. If you take prescription retinoids, please consult your doctor.

Before your appointment

Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements for 24–48 hours before your session.

The appointment

Color consultation and shade try-on: you approve the color first.
Numbing is applied, with a stronger protocol for lips.
Color is built in sheer, even layers, checking symmetry throughout.

Healing timeline

Days 1–2: color looks vivid; mild swelling is normal.
Days 3–5: lips feel dry and flaky. Don’t pick.
Week 2: color fades noticeably. This ghosting stage is normal.
Weeks 6–8: color returns and settles.

A touch-up 6–8 weeks later evens out and locks in the color.

Aftercare

Keep lips moisturized with the aftercare ointment provided.
Don’t pick at flaking skin.
Avoid heavy-sweat workouts for 7–14 days.

Lip blush is $599 for your first visit. Touch-ups within 6 months are $199; later touch-ups are priced higher, so ask us for current rates. Lip blush typically lasts 1.5–3 years.
